About Find My Physio

Built by a hospital physio who got tired of not knowing who to recommend.

We’re a national directory that matches people to physios by what they actually treat — not just where they’re located. Here’s why, and how it works.

“Which physio should I see for my dizziness? Who treats jaw pain?” I kept getting asked — and I didn’t always know. — Georgina, Founder, Find My Physio

Find My Physio is an Australia-wide physiotherapy directory founded by a practising hospital physiotherapist. It matches patients to physios by clinical focus area — not just location — translating plain-English symptoms into the clinical terms physios use, so people stop guessing and find a physio with genuine experience treating their specific problem.

FROM HOSPITAL WARD TO NATIONWIDE DIRECTORY
Where it started

A gap she saw from inside the hospital system.

Find My Physio was built by a hospital physiotherapist who got tired of not knowing who to recommend. Working in a hospital, she didn’t have visibility into the private practice space — so when friends, family, and patients asked “which physio should I see for my dizziness?” or “who treats jaw pain?”, she often couldn’t give a confident answer.

Find My Physio is the tool she built to solve that gap: a national directory that matches people to physios by what they actually treat, not just where they’re located.

Founded by a practising hospital physiotherapist — real clinical experience, not a marketing team guessing at what patients need.

What we actually do

You speak in symptoms. Physios list in clinical terms. We translate between the two.

Everyday people search using plain English — “dizzy physio,” “jaw pain physio,” “knee pain.” Physiotherapists list and think in clinical terms — vestibular, TMJ, patellofemoral pain. On the front end, it feels like a simple search. On the back end, we’re matching your words to their Clinical Focus Areas.

You search“dizzy physio”
They listVestibular Rehabilitation
You search“jaw pain physio”
They listTMJ / Jaw Dysfunction
You search“pelvic floor physio”
They listPelvic Health
You search“knee pain physio”
They listPatellofemoral Pain
You never have to learn the clinical language. We’ve already done the matching — so search by symptom, not by suburb, and see physios who actually treat your exact problem.
How we operate

A few rules we don’t bend on.

RULE 01

We follow AHPRA’s rules, on purpose

We can’t call a physio a “specialist” unless AHPRA says they are — so instead, we show you their real Clinical Focus Areas and Advanced Training, which tells you more anyway.

RULE 02

We verify, we don’t just take a clinic’s word for it

The “Find My Physio Verified” badge means we’ve checked that physio’s registration against the official AHPRA register ourselves — not just a claim a clinic makes about itself.

RULE 03

We never collect your health information

You always book directly with the clinic. We help you find the right physio — we don’t ask about your symptoms, your history, or anything medical, ever.

We’re early, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise

We’re early — we don’t have case studies yet. That’s exactly why Founding 50 pricing exists: clinics who join now are rewarded for joining before we do. We’d rather be straightforward about where we’re at than dress up a platform that’s still being built.

Where we’re headed

Built for patients today. Built to scale over the next five years.

Find My Physio exists to solve one problem first: helping you find the right physio for your specific condition, anywhere in Australia. As the directory grows, our aim is to become the trusted national standard clinics and patients both default to.

  • Growing our network of AHPRA-verified clinics across every state and territory
  • Building out condition pages for more high-value, niche presentations
  • Becoming the directory clinics recommend each other to join
